1. Information We Collect

When you participate in One Million Faces, we collect:

• Your email address (to send your confirmation and face number)
• The photo you upload (your face image)
• Your chosen alias (the name displayed on your share card)
• Your payment information (processed exclusively by Paddle.com — we never see or store your card details)
• Your IP address (for fraud prevention and abuse rate-limiting)
• Basic usage data (pages visited, interactions) via Vercel Analytics

We do not collect your full name, physical address, phone number, or any government ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Display your face in the One Million Faces collage at addyourface.com
• Send you your confirmation email with your face number and share card
• Retry delivery of your confirmation email if initial delivery fails
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of these terms
• Improve the Site's performance and user experience

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the service described above.

3. Photo Display and Public Nature of the Collage

By submitting your photo, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your photo will be displayed publicly and permanently as part of the One Million Faces collage
• Your photo is visible to all visitors of addyourface.com without restriction
• Your alias will appear on your personal share card

4. Photo Moderation

All submitted photos are reviewed using automated moderation tools (including AWS Rekognition) to detect inappropriate content. Photos that violate our Terms of Service are rejected. Moderation does not delay your confirmation — you receive your face number immediately upon payment.

5. Data Retention

• Your photo and alias remain in the collage permanently unless you request removal
• Your email address is retained to deliver your confirmation and for system integrity purposes
• If you request takedown of your photo, it is hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 7 days

6. Your Rights — Photo Removal

You may request removal of your photo at any time by emailing legal@addyourface.com. Upon receiving your request:

• Your photo is hidden from the collage immediately
• You have 7 days to cancel your removal request
• After 7 days, your photo is permanently and irreversibly deleted

7. California Residents — CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request deletion of your personal information; and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact legal@addyourface.com.

8. Brazil Residents — LGPD

If you are a resident of Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent, given at the time of photo submission. To exercise your rights, contact legal@addyourface.com.

9. Mexico Residents — LFPDPPP

If you are a resident of Mexico, you have rights under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP), including the ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition). To exercise your rights, contact legal@addyourface.com.

10. Payments

All payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment information under their own privacy policy, available at paddle.com/legal/privacy. We do not store or have access to your payment card details.

11. Cookies and Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data. This does not involve tracking cookies or cross-site tracking. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.

12. Children's Privacy

One Million Faces is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Users are required to confirm their age at the time of submission. If you believe a minor has submitted a photo, contact legal@addyourface.com immediately and we will remove it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
